| Abstract: | There are three models making Shenzhen's and Hong Kong's economy dovetail, that is merger-type, backyard-type and complementary-type models. The first one only stresses the complementary but neglects the disparity. It is the disparity that decides the impossibility of the first model. The second one is even more unsuitable for it will lower the reciprocal relationship between Shenzhen's economy and Hong Kong's economy to a dependent relationship. The third one, just as its name implies is exactly superiority complementary for both areas have their own superiority. And the double-city effect which the cities contiguous to each other are easy to bring into play is precisely the effect of superiority complementary. |
