| Abstract: | This paper reports on an exploratory study of the respective merits of industrial districts and supply chains as vehicles for organizational learning. The paper outlines a model describing the processes involved in organizational learning and uses the model as a framework for field research into the different learning characteristics of industrial districts and supply chains. |
