| Abstract: | The survey article deals with the Central European banks. Many people say that the only way to save the region's banks would be to sell them to foreigners. However, it has not happened. Luckily enough, there are also other ways of kicking banks into shape. Included is also a 15 ranking in short on Central European banks (east) by 1997 assets in millions of USD. |
