Abstract:To be brief, at present, China's macro economy has presented a pattern of high growth and low inflation in the course of growth slowing down. By estimate, such a pattern will remain unchanged in 1998. It indicates that there has been a new change in the forces binding and supporting the operation of overall national economy. It is normal that the growth of final demand is slowing down, effective demand is insufficient, the restraint of market demand has been increased and the economic growth rate is falling slowly after a rise. However, the difficulties in industrial structural adjustment, optimization and upgrading should arouse our special attention.
