| Abstract: | The desire to achieve sustainable development is a growing force that has redefined both the nature of tourism policy/strategy and the processes by which they are formulated. Visions are market-driven. One example of such a vision is presented in this paper. It concerns a vision developed for a unique national treasure - and a global tourism icon: Banff National Park in the province of Alberta, Canada. |
