Abstract: | The article deals with the market of computer games, that is games for playing on personal computers, as opposed to video games for playing on dedicated consoles. In the last years, cd-rom has replaced the floppy disk as standard format for computer games. The largest genre of computer game are titles on war / strategy. Market value is highly concentrated. Game players are overwhelmingly male.
