| Abstract: | The author examines the significance of community forests for tourism and proceeds to assess future potential through an examination of community forest plans and through personal communication with the varous projects. The study concludes by revealing that, since the plans were produced, the importance of tourism has been afforded more prominence and that a number of distinct tourism initiatives are being developed. |
