Abstract:Mr, Zhang Zhaoyang, a doctor has brought many completely new concepts and mode of business to China's high tech industries after he returned from America where he had stayed for ten years. He said that today, information had become unimportant due to information explosion and only what can attract one's attention were important and we had walked into the era of "attention economy". The Sohoo engine put out by ITC that Mr. Zhang Zhaoyang works in is designed specially for Chinese users. It can be looked for according to classification scheme on internet. Sohoo company's income from advertising on Chinese network reached US$ 1 million in 1998. It has accounted for 60% of the total.
