Abstract:Beginning with the evolvement of investment policy in developing countries, this article analyses the nature of liberalization of international direct investment policy and concludes its characteristics. The article indicates developed countries are the advocators and initiators of global liberalization of investment while developing countries only act as the receivers and conformers. The liberalization has the characteristics of management and standardization; its policy goal has gradation and apparent inclination but the development of liberalization is unbalanced.
