| Abstract: | Asian Monetary Fund will basically function to provide financial support to countries stricken by financial crisis and promote policy dialogue between Asian nations. However, judging from the angle of regional economy and monetary integration, the condition is not ripe yet for establishing Asian Monetary Fund. The cooperation in following fields should be enhanced no matter whether there is the fund or not. 1 trade policy to restructure industry and foreign trade so as to avoid excessive competition and resource waste; 2 macro economic policy; 3 exchange rate policy; 4 adjustment and control of translational capital flow-to put outflow of capital under control to curb excessive outflow of domestic capital; 5 emergency aid. |
