Abstract:Although the area of it only accounts for 18.5%, Changjiang river valley's annually total output value of industry and agriculture is 40%, and the amount of tax revenue accounts for 50%. Over the past five to six years, average economic growth level of about ten major provinces and regions in Changjiang river valley is around 15% year-one-year, whose economic development standards have been the highest in China. The per capita output value and per capita income of some major provinces and regions in the valley are higher than average national standard 98 medium-and large-sized cities and over 1900 towns as well as their peripheral villages have been united, forming an urban zone.
