| Abstract: | This article highlights the main issues raised in 13 articles that were selected from papers presented at the 11th Australasian Finance and Banking Conference held in Sydney in December 1998. It also analyses the contribution of APEC and the possible emergence of a single Asian currency for further global financial integration and discusses some of the challenges facing those trying to ensure further financial integration of the EU in the light of the increasing globalisation of the financial market. |
