| Abstract: | In this special issue, we celebrate 10 years of publishing research into global information management (GIM). The Journal of Global Information Management (JGIM) was created in 1993 with the aim to provide GIM researchers with the first publication specific to the field. Over the last 10 years, we have witnessed a tremendous growth in published research into a wide variety of topics relating to the development, implementation, management and use of IT in a global setting-due partly to journals like JGIM. In this editorial, the author will share his views of the nature of the GIM field, announce JGIM's new sections, and review the articles published in this issue. |
