As a professional crisis manager, he has been asked to take control, usually as executive chairman, of more than 90 companies, from retailers to airlines. Some numbered among Britain's larger publicly traded groups; others were smaller, privately held operations. All of them have faced the imminent threat of bankruptcy. |
