Abstract:Tourism and leisure have historically been studied in isolation, but recearchers attempt to understand the relationship based on a critical review of the current literature on pleasure oriented environments. The model indicates that despite potential differences in observable behaviour, there is a commonality between the underlying influences that define how people behave during their leisure and tourism experiences.
