Abstract:Socially responsible initiatives are adopted by more and more businesses on the assumption that consumers actively support responsible organizations. Nevertheless, little is known about the meaning and importance of corporate responsibilities for consumers in different countries. It is compared in this study, how US, French and German consumers evaluate corporate responsibilites both toward society in general and toward organizational stakeholders.
