Abstract:This discussion paper deals with the following questions: Is high-tech marketing (hereafter as: m-ting) something "special"? And if so, why and how does it differ from traditional m-ting? It is shown through a comparison that m-ting activities, e.g. product development, pricing and distribution partly are conceived differently in the two approaches.
