| Abstract: | Cross-border acquirers are seriously challenged in achieving successful integration of mergers and acquisitions (M&As). This study suggests that to improve success, the post-acquisition management (hereafter as: p-a-mgmt.) process should be divided into a number of phases with defined objectives and actions. The paper provides preliminary evidence drawing on the p-a-mgmt. of four European M&As undertaken by an American automotive multinational enterprise. |
