| Abstract: | This article discusses the world banks institutional role in tourism development from 1966 to present day. Today there is renewed motivation in the world bank due to high country demand and the role of tourim in the fulfilment of United Nations Millenium Goals. The authors analyse the role and aproach of the World Bank toward this development aim. |
