| Abstract: | Management of large corporations is often focused on the core issues. In this paper, the authors show reasons why narrow concentration can sometimes be fatal for organizations. The paper provides an in-depth discussion about the role of teams in improving organization's peripheral vision and awareness. Four different types of teams are identified: execution teams, minimally-structured teams, immersion teams, dysfunctional teams. |
