Abstract:A change is proposed from control to commitment-oriented organization. Managerial layers are to be reduced. Management restructuring must be based on a philosophy-guided vision of the future,not on the present-day needs. Increased effectiveness has to be the main objective rather than greater efficiency. Wide involvement and exact performance expectations are equally important. A comprehensive framework for the management organization process is outlined. New professional tools utilized in the managerial practice are described. Design choices. Top-down and bottom-up design processes. The determination of matters of sequence. The role of design consultants.
