Abstract:Some of the greatest American firms have their own "corporate colleges". They are authorized to give graduations in agreement or cooperation with a university.The educational system in the US, recent developments in continuing education, and of the breakthroughs that firms have made in this flourishing market are described. The three main forms of education in which adults can participate: 1/ the higher education, 2/ the vocational education, 3/ and the continuing education are considered. The role of corporate colleges within the frame of the Shadow Education System.Three case studies give factual information on this type of institutes.
