Abstract:The article is the second in a series in which the author records the events during the computerization of accounting of a small firm.This continues the story and takes the reader through an imaginary time-band from mid-March to the arrival of hardware early May.The first phase of computerization foresaw the process through February after an agreement with a software house.The author used the tentative timetable as follows: -April Preparation of data forms for input; -1 May Delivery and installation of software and hardware; -1 June Parallel running; -1 July Live operation of the system. The story now goes on covering installation,staffing,administration and security system.
