| Abstract: | Data processing staffing needs are showing less demand for programmers and an increasing need for skilled systems analysts and designers. These are the people that develop and maintain the management information system /MIS/. MIS is viewed as a set of logically interrelated procedures designed, maintained, and used by people with the help of information processing technology for the purpose of providing information to fulfil managerial needs. An analyst must work well with people, have an understanding of information processing technology, and be able to fulfil managerial needs. |
