| Abstract: | As a preparation of company audit a detailed structural analysis is needed. This analysis must include not only the examination of the formal organizational structure, but a thorough business investigation too. A planned reorganization must be based on a performance appraisal of the strategic business units. Those parts of the company wich do not fit into an effective global strategy, have to be sold (sell-off, spin-off). The principles of the analysis of the target capital structure are discussed. The ways of raising the liquiditation value of a company by eliminating the unnecessary fragments of the working capital are highlighted. |
