Abstract:A number of factors that preclude women's acceptance as full and equal partners in the power positions in organizations, is considered. Perceptual difficulties surrounding women's struggle for executive rights are examined. Suggestions to facilitate workplace transformation, including reward systems and team building, as well as developing greater social sensitivity to potential conflict are offered.
