Abstract:Although the United States is a large financial market, for US companies wide international investor relations (IR) provide a lot of advantages. Just a few of them: An opportunity to tap into a different mind-set about investing, especially as time horizon; a geographically wider distribution of shares; a tendency for investors to support and buy a company's stock, especially when share prices are generally soft; a wider understanding of corporate management goals, especially when they are clearly communicated to international holders; and an opportunity to differentiate, as well as showcase, a company to different audience. Points are given for selection of appropriate markets.
