Abstract:The importance of time in the competitive process is insufficiently understood. There are adressed issues of time as an individually and organisationally scarce resource as well as the role of time as a strategic success factor. Seven recommendations are given with regard to the more efficient allocation of time: The application of the little resource management time should be regulated from the side of the demand and from that of the supply; Time efficiency can be increased considerably by an adequate enterprise culture; Efficient time controlling; Accelerating F and E; Being first in many markets; In other markets proper time is to be found; Time advantages are competition advantages.
