| Abstract: | Since the mid-seventies it has become clear that radical changes have been taking place in areas such as technology, markets, resources, science, politics and society in general. These changes have permanently transformed the corporate environment and have created new challenges for those concerned with organizational problems. Current trends are identified in the field of organization with a view to establishing a foundation for organisational work in the future. Elements which have proved to be of value in the past should not be abandoned but integrated in a system comprising both new and old elements. |
