Abstract:The future of broadcasting is formed in research centres around the world. There are 3 types of these centres; the National Laboratories mainly funded by a government agency, the multiple sponsorship R&D centres are backed by trade association members, and the third are commercial R&D laboratories /EMI, BOSCH,Sony, JVC etc/.
