Abstract:The Sky Channel believes in the US- inspired programme stripping method, the same show, the same time every day. It has been used in Europe for some time. In a multi-channel environment stripping is a technique to attract large number of people regularly. It's also feasible for new channels looking for an audience. The problem is that the same type of people watch them when you want to reach different audiences. From advertisers' point of view the quality of audience is as important as quantity.
