Abstract:Under the new French law, French TV networks are allowed to interrupt films for commercials only once. Networks will certainly lose considerable amounts . La Cinq is to pay Ffr 10 m fines for showing too many non-European films, and it was made to cancel transmission of five films. Networks are supposed to show 40% French productions and 48% European ones.
