Abstract:A case study of a small business points up the importance of getting feedback from employees about the business. There was a need to transform an agency into a more effective competitor and a rapidly growing and profitable business. The most important point was the management audit of the agency's staff, in which the adviser interviewed all staff members to learn their ideas about the company. Also past and present clients were contacted to learn their views of company. Finally a strategic planning process took place. The feedback of the survey results brought about a self-searching that made it almost impossible for anyone to hold fast to former attitudes and opinions. Change was inevitable.
