Abstract:CIM investments may be compared with a game of poker. If you want to stop the game the stakes must be high. But unlike poker, we have diverse, hitherto unused possibilities of shaping our "hand" economically. This is the decisive economic strategy for CIM investments. The concept of profitability is examined. The process of CIM-investment decision is described and analyzed. Some guidelines are provided as an aid to the cost and profitability estimates. Some of the most important factors of profitability (qualification and motivation of personnel, user's experience, organizational parameters) are investigated. Six steps of a profitability generation process are outlined.
