Abstract:Each company must decide what type of financial education will work for it and address such issues as how to incorporate it into the existing benefits package, the types of programs available and their cost. Examples of educational packages include individual counseling, personalized or generic financial plans, implementation and periodic updates and program support and evaluation. Often financial education does not require a major overhault to an existing employee plan. Instead, it means that employees are educated about the benefits they already have and how to get the most from them.
