| Abstract: | It is appropriate to ask if the law is not potentially a fully-fledged instrument of management. Most companies continue to regard the law as a series of external constraints imposed as a function of interest that do not concern them directly. Most managers are simply ignorant of the laws that affect their field of activity. A review of the relationships between the law and company management is provided. It is shown that virtually every decision includes a legal dimension of some significance. It therefore becomes imperative to consider the organization of the legal function by positioning the role of the law alongside the other major functions within the company. |
