| Abstract: | Three existing technologies are examined where some trajectory has been imputed: computer numerical control (CNC) machine tools, robotics and office automation, and computer-aided production management (CAPM). It is examined how these technologies were developed, implemented and how they have evolved in used. This investigation helps to understand the process of innovation and the relationship between technological and organizational change. |
