| Abstract: | The article demonstrates that inter- industry wage differentials in FRG are very similar to those in the US. This is strange for the institutional framework of the labour market in the two countries is different. The wages of different qualification groups relate to one-another in a similar way in different industries. These results are difficult to make consistent with neoclassical models of the labour market. |
