| Abstract: | The types of trade (one way, intrarange or vertical differentiation, two-way in similar products or horizontal differentiation and the special characteristics of exporting firms (productivity, markup, size) are analysed for France. A high proportion of French trade is two-way in similar products with EEC partners. French export firms are more productive, use larger mark-up and have a larger size than non-exporters. |
