Abstract: | In the wake of strategic remodelling the Daimler-Benz AG has twice changed its management structure since 1986, its present structure dating from 1989. In the article the authors consider whether this organizational structure can provide a framework for corporate processes that will guarantee the achievement of corporate strategic goals. After outlining the company's strategic development, the authors submit its organizational structures to a critical examination based on published material. Consequently alternatives for present management-holding are enumerated. |
