Abstract:Pricing in the new European currency may have an influence on how consumers perceive a travel package and the company selling it. The paper introduces a set of interconnected explanatory variables, which determine the influence to Euro pricing versus pricing in local currency. An empirical study employs the 'second generation' structural equation modelling to perform random coefficient estimates for the part worth coefficients in a conjoint measurement design.
