Abstract:The author states that for a business that drives up the value of process integration, it's hard to beat the corporate intranet. In this paper the author speaks to director of internal and e-communication at Honeywell about the success factors behind its intranet. The paper reveals the factors credited for the success of Honeywell Inc.'s intranet. The author also considers the opportunity to collect, organize and distribute employee input and feedback. The article pays attention to the following subjects: advantages of Generation Two intranet over its predecessor and steps taken at continuous improvement. In conclusion the author states that it's easy for intranet development teams to grow so close to their work that they overlook the value of user input.
