| Abstract: | The development of renewable energy technology is widely seen as important if the world is to move towards a sustainable approach to energy generation. However, there are a range of obstacles. This paper looks at some of the institutional and social obstacles to the development and deployment of renewables, and also on how obstacles might be reduced. |
