| Abstract: | This paper examines the methodological approaches, taking Weicks theory of sensemaking as illustrative of a socio-constructionist conception of sensemaking and learning in organization studies. The analysis reveals that sensemaking research nonetheless aims to establish objective knowledge of the subjective processes. |
