| Abstract: | This paper aims at presenting how in a virtual setting a cooperating group of individuals could transform their tacit knowledge, and what is the necessary infrastructure needed for such transformation. Among others, the paper introduces a knowledge (here as: knw.) management (KM) definition presenting three phases for managing knw. among virtually cooperating group members (as: g-ms). The following items are seen as vital for knw. transformation among virtual gms.: a definition for KM among group members, adoption of classification of knw. as explicit, embodied, and not-yet-embodied (Scharmer), and opinions and ideas as the parts of tacit knw. which could be easily transformed. |
