Abstract:In the United Kingdom (UK), part-time studying is significant as almost 40 percent of higher education students study part-time. This article presents a report on a literature review aiming to understand the economic and social benefits of part-time study in the UK. It is concluded that there are substantial and wide-ranging benefits from studying part-time.
