Abstract:This study presents a model using hierarchical fuzzy reasoning to evaluate corporate sustainability (hereafter as: sust.), given a number of inputs, named as 'basic indicators'. Inputs are normalized according to their sust. status and combined to obtain a sust. index on [0,1] for each facet of the company. A sensitivity analysis specifies the most important indicators that affect the sust. There are two case studies of multinational cement companies presented in detail.
