Abstract:It is critical to identify and understand what are the knowledge-based value drivers affecting business value creation in the current business environment. This paper's focus is on the relevance of the emotive knowledge as a key knowledge asset shaping organizational capabilities of 21st century organisations. The concept is analysed together with a twofold perspective: 1. it is considered as a driver of people's engagement, and 2. it is seen as a key factor affecting the creation of intangible value to be incorporated into organisational infrastructures and products.
