Abstract:The article predicts that high frequency trading programs will be replacing real people in future rogue trading blow-ups. Previous rogue trading incidents and the people behind them are analyzed. Different methods for taking preemptive action are presented and hypothetical results of possible future rogue trading blow-ups conducted by automated trading programs are discussed.
