| Abstract: | There are several reasons for a company to move employees and executives to and from foreign countries. This article deals with the costs and tax planning of such movements especially concerning Germany. Things to consider are cost of living, compensation structure, retirement planning,tax and legal planning. Timing of repatriation and residence are important as well as the use of benefits in kind. |
